Call for Student Volunteers

No conference is successful without the help of volunteers from the organizing committee, program committee and last, but not least, student volunteers.
 
This is a call for Student Volunteers for ICEC (International Conference on Entertainment Computing) 2011 held in Vancouver BC. Conference site: http://www.icec2011.org/.
Student volunteers will be responsible for several tasks:

  1. Help setup and tear down the Poster and Demo session
  2. Registration process setup
  3. Staffing the Registration booth
  4. Help in teardown of the conference
  5. Help give directions and answer questions from attendees
  6. Reporting on the conference on Twitter, Facebook and other social media
  7. Create a report on the conference experience for the IFIP
  8. Help A/V during the sessions
  9. Collect and edit the proceedings to make them ready for the usb key proceedings

Student volunteers will be required to work 6 hours during the 3-­‐day conference. All student volunteers will be given free registration for their work during the conference. Student volunteers will also be given lunch vouchers.
To apply please send your CV and a short paragraph describing why you want to volunteer. Send these two documents to Magy Seif El-­‐Nasr (Co-­‐Chair of ICEC) at magy@northeastern.edu by August 31, 2011.
